Family Background

My father Liam  was Vice Chairman of the County Board and a retired nurse from St Loman’s Hospital, where he was heavily involved in the Annual Meath Pilgrimage to Lourdes.

 

My Mother is involved in the Irish Country Women’s Association and lives at Cloughan, Mullingar.

 

My brother James was captain of St Loman’s football team for four years. He was on the historic 2004 Leinster winning team where he played Corner Back and also won a division two title with Westmeath.

 

Aoife my sister is a teacher in Loreto College, Mullingar. Aoife has Captained Cullion Camogie Club and has played with Westmeath while also representing St. Lomans Football club, where she has won county Championships.  She is also a school union representative.

 

My Uncle and business partner Pat Davitt was President of the Chamber of Commerce in Mullingar for three years and is highly respected in Mullingar business circles and is presently CEO of the IPAV. Another uncle of mine Pat Sheridan is a son of the legendary TD Joe Sheridan. He is also a high profile member of my election campaign team. 

 

I have recently married to Gillian who is from Dublin, living and working in Mullingar.
